Compressor replacement removal of old compressor, filter dryer and electrical plug harness for compressor. installation of new compressor new filter dryer relocated filter dryer to outside of condensing unit to allow for easier service. Installed new electrical compressor harness. inspected system for premature failure of existing compressor found possible cause piston never changed out when unit was installed. this could cause premature failure of new compressor if not corrected. warranty is void recommend correcting proper piston size to allow for compressor to operate at proper pressures and temperatures.
Technician Taylor arrived to investigate reports of water heater leaking. Client is elderly and stated she saw water on her patio that was far more excessive than normal. Stated the last time it happened it was because the water heater had failed and drained out entirely. technician inspected backyard and found the sprinklers in the rear of the yard to be on. Technician found the ground to be extremely saturated and standing water to be present in many areas. Technician believes that the sprinklers have been on all night. Clients stated she thought she has a broken valve. Technician spoke with another HVAC technician on site from another company. he stated when speaking to the client earlier in his visit that she said she had her son and one of his friends over working on the irrigation. technician believes they set up a setting wrong or broke a valve causing the water to stay on all night. Technician was unable to manually shut off at the valves but was able to use ball valve to shut
Adding refrigerant to unit to proper levels. R22 refrigerant. Suction line is freezing over due to lack of refrigerant. Added R22 refrigerant to system to achieve 64psi on low side. Compressor is no longer freezing as well as suction line. Tested vent temperature and is varying between 56-60degrees. Home owner interested in getting a quote for partial duct redesigning and installing. Will send out senior tech. System running and operational. Changed filter.Add on to house has no airflow and vent temperature is ambient temperature in house. 71 degrees coming from vent but no air flow. All other vents for downstairs and original part of house cooling well. Some one had cut into supply ducts and wrapped with tape.
Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of low pressure at kitchen sink. Crystal Blue technicians repyped entire water system about a week ago ever since then client has said that the pressure and the kitchen sink has diminished greatly. Technician inspected and flushed angle stops. Technician diagnosed problem to be with the faucet. Client stated they already needed to replace it and she was just going to have her husband take care of it. technician still supply proposals for installation and collected signatures.
Performed a.c maintenance in Citrus Heights. Unit is a Payne Package unit on side of house. Has small hole in plenum where air is leaking. Condenser coil guards are missing and has been pressed on so fins are flattened in some spots. Proper gas line and whip. Proper placement of service disconnect. Inside unit has some debris from trees above it. Inside of unit is full of dust and spiderwebs. Vacuumed out debris in unit. Quickly wiped down burner housing to get rid of dust buildup on burners causing smell when heat is on. Vacuumed out compressor compartment and cleaned up spiderwebs. Checked all electrical connections and are okay. Checked capacitor and is in range 13.9uf of 15. Checked refrigerant levels and are slightly low. Freezing over suction line inside unit.Will return on Thursday after 2pmCustomers agreed to terms of charging with R22 per pound. Will charge depending on how much refrigerant I have to add. Will use scale to accurately weigh in refrigerant.
Performed ac diagnostic 23 yr old split heat pump. Found system turns on doesnâ€™t cool, and went out side found unit running but blowing cold air found refrigerant gone. See pictures. Also unit has oil in dirt. So we have a leak. With age of equipment and old r22 recommend replacement system.Went over my recommendation to replace due to age of system, and amount of work needed.
Performed ac diagnostic, found blown compressor. Electrical wiring blown off and refrigerant leaked out. Need to replace compressor or change out outside unit. Left quotes for both. 1750$ to change out customer supplied heat pump, 2500$ to buy and replace just the compressor.My recommendation is to replace the heat pump with a customer supplied one.Looking for install Tuesday the 19th, for the customer supplied heat pump, the compressor would depend on availability.
Whole house re-pipeWould require us to go under the house cut out all the old galvanized lines disposing of lines disconnecting all fixtures and removing galvanized parts and pipe. We would run pex to all the new fixtures. This home has one bathroom one shower one toilet bathroom sink kitchen sink icemaker line in washer and dryer. We also are installing a washer and dryer box in the laundry room of home with new pex lines.
- Shut water off to house and drain water in system - Remove existing Malfunctioniong water shut off valve - Test by operating with building pressure Water temperature checked and Approx 110Â° (a little low probably due to distance from water heater...recommend recirculating pump Approx $800-$1200)
Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of a main water leak. Technician arrived to find that where main water enters home at rear of property has a split in the PVC male fitting tying into a brass ball valve. client said he accidentally hit it a couple days ago when mowing his lawn. he wrapped a significant amount of duct tape around the break to attempt to mitigate the leak. When technician originally inspected The leak was flowing at a rate of approximately 2 to 3 gallons a minute. Technician used nearby piece of pipe to attempt to brace line. This significantly reduced the leak to a much smaller dribble approximately a gallon per hour. Client lives on an acre property that is overgrown. he believes the meter is at the rear fence line of the property. client and his son are going to go out with mowers and weed wackers to break down foliage and locate meter. Technician supply proposal to replace water main.
Water heater options given to customer for repair and for replacement Customer would like to review options with wife Check in with customer on Tuesday for update on status of project
Technician will install client supplied bathroom faucet. technician Taylor returned following day to perform install of client supplied faucet. Client supplied fitzer single handle f0aucet with spring action independent pop-up assembly. Technician shut off water to home and disconnected supply lines. Technician installed new client supply faucet. Technician tested to ensure no leaks. Technician cleaned work area of all trash and debris.
Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of client needing a new faucet. Technician was directed to master bedroom or the master faucet was halfway disassembled. Client stated the faucet failed about 2 days ago and he wants a replacement. After technician quoted price technician inquired about a client supplied option. Technician supplied proposal and client would like to move forward. Client will be purchasing faucet tonight and would like it installed as soon as possible.

Found system not working, cycled on unit. Got system running tested system refrigerant low charge. Need to charge system up with r 22. Customer supplied r22 refrigerant.Charged system tested system holding at this time no gaurentee it is not leaking cause they charged it. But now itâ€™s been charged and tested see pictures.Po 46653
Customer has a shower handle that wont shut off, water is shut off to the home. Removed the old Moen cartridge and installed the new moen cartridge. Turned the water on with no leaks, hot to the left and cold to the right.
Customer had pg&e out because she smelled gas, they think its underneath the home and shut the gas off to the home. Scheduled the job for next tuesday with another tech, connect a propane tank charging the line and using a gas sniffer. Estimate is just for up to half a day and does not include repairs until we check the whole home. 916-698-3252
Performed diagnostic on unit cycled unit on, unit spinning and trying to start. Tested power found bad fuse replaced fuse, found units compressor wonâ€™t run, tested to see why, only getting half the power it needs. Tripped breaker. Compressor is dying.Recommend system replacement. Customer supplied equipment.
- Disassemble portions of patio bench to access piping - Shut water off to house and cut out leaking pipe - Remove existing whole house water shut off - Remove irrigation water control valve - Reconfigure water supply to increase shut off valve accessibility - Rebuild outside faucet installed to eliminate leak - Additionally cut out 5 ft section of 1 in copper piping to eliminate corroded section - Install Approx. 30 ft of 1 In PEX piping - Reassemble patio bench when complete - Start up sequence and fine tuning included - Pressure set to 63 psi
Customer has a clogged laundry lie in the garage, customers piping is ABS outside of the wall and cast iron inside of the wall. Customer also stated that he plumbing is not graded at a slope like most are, she also owns a cleaning service and washes a lot of rags. Considering the high usage of cloth rags and the fact that she has old cast iron piping I recommend chain snake or hydro-Jett. Customer did not want to provide her email and she took a picture of the estimates.
Customer has a clogg in there toilets but nothing else seems to be backed up, augered the toilets but that did nothing. Located exterior cleanout and ran snake all the way down the line, pulled back wipes but went as far as the snake can go. Apparently they had a cleanout on the other side of the senior living home but they poured concrete over it. We will return Tuesday to hydro-Jett the line and start the locating to gain access to the cleanout for the customer.

3/2 Technician Taylor arrived on scene to meet with tile guy and coordinate new shower install. Technician explain to tile contractor where they needed access to hook up new shower fixture. Technician marked out area and installed new 2x4 support being between studs to accommodate new fixture mounting brackets. Technician document with photo and notes and will return to install shower fixture once tile has been completed.
Callback. Customer stated worked well all night til the morning. I pulled toilet and cameras and snake through toilet. Wet wipes between the back to back toilets. Cleared and cleared at outside cleanout as well. Ran all fixtures for over 15 minutes with no back ups. Tested all toilets and drains and shower and tub.
