Customer has a leak at the sewer main underneath the home that Scott from Hvac discovered, upon diagnosing the problem I found multiple cracks in the ABS. I also found a broken tee for a sewer line that was left open and needs to be removed and re-piped as well. Talked to the people in charge and the front door and they gave me an email for Diana Macneill, emailed the estimate to her and will await approval t start the work.
2 systems under house of duct work, 2 large returns, 2 large supplies, a few wyes, and the the rest of the ducts come off of a long distribution plenum. We would keep the plenums.Found plumbing issue, under house.., scheduling to get plumber out.
Returned to make the water line repairs, used the jackhammer to chip off the asphalt in the way of the leaking water line. Dug around the line to make repairs, installed a slip coupling and coupling. I let the line set for about 20 minutes and turned the water on with no leaks, buried the line and poured concrete where there used to be asphalt. I left the customer know he can turn the water on but to let it set for as long as he can. I also checked the water pressure at the home and its at 90psi which is over the safe level of water line pressure. I sent the estimate to re-work the main with a new ball valve and prv, he denied the work at this time.
Customer has a pool drain that runs out to his driveway and it is clogged, upon inspection I noticed the line uses a thin plastic corrugated line. This line can only be cleared by the chain snakes, a conventional snake would rip this pipe apart and cannot be used. The customer agreed with the work, ran the snake from the driveway to the drain in the side yard. Ran the snake from the side yard to the drain in the driveway, ran through multiple times clearing the line of roots. Ran the drain down hose for 10 minutes with no issues.
Customer had another plumbing company start to remodel there hall bathroom, they set the tub and shower valve but decided to change price mid job and understandably the customer stopped the job. Upon diagnosing what work is left to complete I noticed the valve is set way too deep for any walls, we would move the valve out and clear out some of the cinderblock. We will install basic Kholer Sterling walls, Sheetrock is not included in the price. Estimate was emailed to the customer as cash price only, payments are 10% at start of the job to cover parts, 40% after first day complete, and the rest when the job is done.
Customer has a water build up on the right side of the home near the edge of the asphalt driveway. Upon digging the problem area up I discovered a water line going to the backyard irrigation, they used an emergency repair coupling that was never meant to last. Presented estimate to jackhammer the asphalt repair the line permanently and cover with concrete. The customer agreed with the work and scheduled for next week on Tuesday, first call.
This is a single side wall furnace, no thermostat, system hasnâ€™t been used in years. Client was told it either needs to be fixed or removed. Due to age and no data plate on unit my recommendation is to just remove it. Especially because their is another wall furnace unit at the end of the hallway. Donâ€™t need 2 that close together.

Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of a leak where we have worked previously. We were out approximately 8 months ago and replaced six cartridges on three sinks in the home. All three sinks are located in the two bathrooms in the home and they all use the same cartridge. Only the cold cartridge in the hall bathroom is dripping. Technician removed handle and was able to snug down the cartridge a little tighter. Technician found the dripping has stopped. Technician believes the constant use of the hall bathroom faucet has just loosened up the cartridge a bit causing a drip. Technician instructed client to keep an eye on it to ensure it does not return. Technician collected signatures and pulled off
Customer has a lavatory sink that is not draining very well, removed the trap arm. Ran the snake down the drain about 30 to 40 feet, ran water down the line for over 10 minutes with no issues. Re-installed the trap arm and ran water down the drain with no leaks.
Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of an issue with the garbage disposal. Technicians spoke with client who stated she had been putting down cooked chicken in the disposal and she believes she put too much down at once. garbage disposal was unplugged client stated when she plugged it back in it wouldn't work. Tech turned on a disposal and it fired up immediately. Technician did notice the garbage disposal was still holding water. Technician recommends a garbage disposal clearing and client agreed. Technician cleaned garbage disposal and P-trap of debris. Technician reassembled and tested for leak. Technician cleaned work area and pulled off. Technician will disassemble P-trap where it ties into garbage disposal to attempt to locate and clear blockage.
Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of a leak at the faucet. Client stated originally the faucet was just dripping but now there's a leak underneath as well. Technician determine the initial leak to be for a failed cartridge but the secondary leak is from a supply line from the handle to the faucet spout. Technician recommends full replacement of faucet and will provide proposals for both repair or replacement. Technician will supply and install new bathroom faucet.Technician went and procured a new chrome 8 in spread bathroom faucet. Technician returned and per clients request let himself in the back door to perform the repair while client was working. Technician shut off water to fixture and uninstalled. technician disposed of existing fixture properly and installed new Delta chrome 2 handle bathroom faucet. Technician cleaned work area of all trash and debris and disinfected. Technician documented with photos and video. Technician called client for payment.
Customer has an electric stove and they want to change it out for a gas stove, stove is about 100 feet from the meter. Because of the architecture of the home we would run about 150 feet of pipe and start with 1 inch and end with 3/4. Gas line will be permitted and recommended to be ran in flexible gastite piping, hard pipe in areas where it is exposed and on the end where the stove is as well.
Technician will use auger to attempt to clear blockage.technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of a toilet backing up. Client said it is the only toilet in the home and he believes it was just too much toilet paper that's blocking it. Technician presented for option for an augering and client accepted. Technician use 6-ft auger to attempt to clear and after snaking for approximately 5 minutes technician was able to successfully clear blockage. Ignition tested toilet with client. Technician cleaned work area and collected signatures with payment.
Performed annual ac maintenance. Day and night Split system garage and sideyard. Changed return air filter grills, 20-30-1 and 14-25-1. and filters Tested system. System operational at this time. Gave unit a good bath, back side of unit pretty dirty. Disconnect slightly melted. See pictures, not hot at this time. Dual capacitor 70-7.5. Electrical wires are tight and look ok at this time. System running ok at this time. Refrigerant pressures ok.
Customer has two bathrooms upstairs that they want remodeled, one is a tub shower combo into a shower. The other is a one piece shower, raising the ceiling and the left side wall if there is enough room for the valve and its not a structure bearing wall. Both bathrooms will get fiberglass inserts and new Kholer shower valves with chrome finish, demo and disposal included with the estimates. We will re-install sheetrock but we will not mud, tape, or texture, hall bathroom 2 techs for 2 to 3 days. Master bathroom 2 techs for 3 to 4 days.
Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of problems with sewer lateral at clients' business. Technician met with client who just recently purchased this building. She stated she is had problems with the sewer line for a while now and is looking to redo the back lot of her property. client just wanted to check out the state of the sewer line before redoing the lot in case it needs to be replaced. Client would like a camera inspection performed. Client was unable to locate the keys to the property and so she just requested a quote. Client said once she gets the keys back to the property she will make up her mind and call to schedule. Technician quoted client approximately $200 for just a simple video inspection from the clean out in the back lot. Technician explained if we had to perform video inspection from multiple locations or have to use locator to identify problems it could be $350+ depending on scope of work required.

Client directed technician to haul bathroom or technician discovered original toilet to have been pulled and disposed of with the flange exposed. Technician found the flange to be sitting approximately 1" under the concrete floor. Technician will write a proposal to fabricate a new flange for client. This proposals for the fabrication of the new flange and the installation of a clients applied toilet. Technician will procure parts necessary to perform repair. Technician will fabricate new flange to adapt to existing. Technician will drill into floor and mount new flange. Technician will ensure proper seal and install new wax ring. Customer has a water heater inside the home that he wants relocated outside of the home, also the exposed water lines on the backside of the home to be partially re-piped. The customer will build the stand and closet for the water heater, he also will do the electrical work that is needed including a non-fused disconnect box. The customer will also like to add a cleanout to the existing drain for the outside washer that taps into the old kitchen cleanout. Provided the customer with an estimate to perform all the work, two man job all day.
Customer has a gas leak in her slab foundation and wants some options to repair or replace the gas lines in her home. Provided the customer with multiple options for repair vs. replace it all the gas lines and going through the attic so there will be no more slab headaches. As an added bonus per. Tim the owner, I provided a special tankless addon for an extremely good deal since the gas line would be sized by us.
