I have been using Crystal Blue for several years ever since I was the 'victim' of a holiday weekend water heater emergency. I have continued to do business with them because they are honest, professional, courteous, and good at what they do, and very competitively priced!! No different this time. Their tech, Michael, was all of the above and then some. He took nearly two hours to discuss my situation, do a thorough inspection of my current system and my needs, etc. By the time he was done he provided me with five (yes five!!) detailed options, which included two highly rated manufacturers, and explained the differences between each. He answered all of my questions, took detailed note and photos, and even called the manufacturers to confirm specs. I also got bids from several other "well known" HVAC contractors. I had done my homework, even went to the Sac Home Show and spoke to several contractors there (some of whom also later provided me with estimates). Bottom line... Crystal Blue was by far the best experience and estimate. As with past Crystal Blue experiences, Michael was GREAT!

Tub spout fell off and toilet rocks slightly. Nothing appears to be wrong with tub spout. Reinstalled and tested. Spout is working fine. Customer also stated that toilet rocked slightly, installed shim under front edge of toilet and tightened. Toilet is fine.
Hall bath toilet is loose and has bad wax ring. Pull toilet and replace wax ring and reset toilet. Toilet has been loose for at least six months, this may have caused toilet flange to rot causing toilet to come loose. Once toilet is pulled, may need to replace toilet flange.

Customer wanted sewer line located as customer is going to lease and is going to add a few fixtures. Located line in hallway at depth of 2 feet 2 inches and is 4†ABS pipe. Line can modified to accommodate customers needs. Camera sewer line to locate main line for future sewer connections.
Customer has a leaking hose Bibb in there backyard that they want to have replaced. Removed the old hose Bibb and installed a new one with a vacuum breaker, noticed water pressure jets out then drops real low. Tested the psi at the water main and pressure was at a dangerous 115 pressure, when i turned a hose Bibb on the pressure dropped to 50 psi. The prv the customer has is not working and she told me they have had weird pressure as long as they have lived here. Highly recommend a new prv set to the proper pressure and a new Ball valve shut off for the water main. Noticed a very minor leak at the water main connection to the meter, recommend this getting repaired as well but more concerned with the faulty prv. Left estimates and the customer will talk with her husband and they will decide what they want to do.

Burner pilot lite out on arrival, relite pilot and turned tstat up, system won’t lite. Manually jumpers it to get it to start working again. Tested system multiple times system running for now. Don’t know how long it will be running. recommend replacement over repairs due to it being around the same price. And with replacement everything in new.

Checked electrical connections and board ok for now, no burnt marks or loose connections. Cleaned burners and flame sensor. Checked gas pressure ok. Blower ok. Tub spout/diverter leaking and needs to be replaced. Will install new supply nipple through wall and attach new chrome plated tub spout/diverter. Removed old tub diverter to determine source of leak. Also installed new tub diverter as old one no longer worked properly. Turned water on and tested for leaks and operation, no leaks at this time. Also removed trim plate on shower valve to ensure no other leaks. No leaks coming from shower at this time.

Need to remove soap tray reattach and seal properly to prevent water getting behind surround. Was able to secure valve without having to cut shower wall. Have removed smith plate from quote total. Trim secured to wall properly, no more leaks. Also owner cartridge to stop drip. No more drip
