We had water under our kitchen sink with the faucet as the obvious source - I called Crystal Blue Plumbing in the morning & got an appointment window between noon & 4pm for the same day - they sent an immediate confirming email & then let us know the name of our service person ( Taylor). He showed up on time and met my wife at the door - cleaned his way in and out and kept the appropriate social distance (covid time). My wife had already managed to clean out the faucet head - but he confirmed that was the leak source and explained fully why it leaked and tightened a badly loose faucet (v difficult access in a tight and awkward place). He was v efficient and professional. We really appreciate the fast and competent service - thanks to both Crystal Blue Plumbing and Taylor. Will surely use them for any future plumbing needs.

Good experience with technician sent to do the work
We reviewed and analyzed garbage disposal verify that we do have electricity there but we have some sort of malfunction with the disposal itself exactly what it is we’re not sure but with some diagnostics an inspection on that we could find out we verified where the electrical panel is in we also looked at the water heater and we discussed some basic reset options on the water heater we’re going to wait on doing any work right now and check with management to verify that they will or will not make repairs on it and we’ll go from there
Out to see why unit is so loud. The blower motor is located 6†from the return grill. Would need to lift unit up and build a custom plenum and stand. Insulate the the plenum and that should make it quieter. But no gaurentee it wouldn’t still be loud.
Customer has a hose bibb on the water main which is to the left front of the home and it is not threading right and the hose attached leaks. During diagnosis I found out that they removed the anti-siphon adapter and the set screw tore the threads up and you cant thread anything onto it. Recommend a 1/2 inch solder hose bibb to be installed, left the customer an estimate and emailed to her as well. She will contact us when they decide to get the work done.
This includes removal of old motor and capacitor. Installing and wiring up new motor and capacitor. Will test and run system after repair to ensure unit is working properly. Will dispose of all trash and debris after repair and clean up my workspace. After pulling motor I noticed that motor requirements for capacitor was supposed to be 12.5mfd. It looks like someone had replaced capacitor at some point in time with a 5mfd capacitor. Informed customer that whom ever performed work on unit last did not install right sized capacitor for motor.Replaced blower motor with brand new one. Replaced capacitor with 15mfd capacitor rated for motor. Secured any loose wires so they do not get damaged. Tested unit for proper operation and all is working. Cleaned up work space and all trash. Wiped down attic entrance and removed finger prints. Changed upstairs and downstairs filter. Customer signed up on Platinum Membership this was not part of Membership visit.
Performed ac diagnostic. 9 yr old Split system garage side yard. Found system blows air, changed filter in garage. Outside unit not running tested parts, found unit appears to be low on charge, system has 2 compressors and takes 15 lbs of refrigerant.Going to need a good amount of refrigerant. Also systems should not leak so recommended to add dye so if it leaks again we can find it.Most likely cause is a leak in the indoor evaporator coil.Added 7 lbs of r410a. Added uv dye With leak stop to system to find leaks if the refrigerant leaks out again. Tested system, system running on departure. Outside boards reading E0... running at this time.Clients opted for the minimum repair at this time. Not signing up on maintenance plan.
Came out for diagnostic for downstairs unit. System turns on outside and runs but there is no airflow to downstairs part of house. Checked all electrical in attic and found that the capacitor in the downstairs furnace was about 30% below it’s recommended rating. Showing 3.11uf and should be no lower than 4.8uf. Checked blower motor to see if it was okay and is grinding and not spinning freely. Informed customer that this was a hazard and unplugged unit until repairs can be done.
Performed annual cooling maintenance. Split system ac back yard. Tested system. System operational at this time. Tested dual capacitor low email@example.com. Outside of manufactures recommended range. Recommended to replace part before failure. Contactor starting to Pitt and light burning, keep an eye on it. Gave unit a bath. Tested system refrigerant. Disconnect pull out alittle tough to get out. 20-25-1 due to be changed.

Customer has a sewer clog in one hotel room and it is affecting the other room on the other side. Upon diagnosis when they first snaked the initial problem room the snake went up the other rooms toilet and broke it, this tells me there is an illegal fitting in the ground and i cant snake from the toilet with a normal snake. Checked the cleanout before the clog and after the clog but both are flowing just fine, so i cant snake from a main line cleanout. I have to use a camera and the inline chain snake so that i can watch and control the snake in order to get to the clog and not break anything. The manager has to get approval and will contact us when they decide what to do.

Performed diagnostic split system 24 yrs old. Outside unit rocks back and forth. Blowing air inside low, not turning on outside ac. Outdoor unit has high voltage no low voltage signal. Attic wiring looks ok. Compared attic to ac low voltage hook up. Green and blue. Ok tested continuity on outside low voltage. Ok at this time. Due to age of system recommend replacement, especially since your doing a remodel. And already put money into system.Talked over options with client, left quote for replacement. Client
Sound comes from inside wall per client. Suction line nice and cool and condenser putting out good heat. I can hear the refrigerant flowing thru the pipe. Then when unit turns off it stops. It’s the sound of refrigerant flowing thru the lines. Refrigerant isn’t low at this time. Checked txv In attic , no dye visible. Checked coil nothing visible yet system cooling well at this time. Remounted txv Sensing bulb on line correctly, got it off weldPerson who installed coil never changed the txv for r22. It’s labeled for 410.so he solution would be to change txv or outdoor unit.
Technician Taylor arrived on site to investigate reports of a TMP needing a new drain line. Client said she's selling the home and has two tankless water heaters. When the potential buyers had an inspection done on the house they noted possible issues with the T&P on tankless units. technician inspected and found the one unit located inside the garage had no form of T&P drain line hooked up and will supply proposal for new install of one. technician found the other tankless unit in the attic above the master bedroom. He noted that the condensation line and T&P we're tied into the same PVC line that ran parallel with the AC condensation line to the exterior of the home to drain properly. Technician did not find a problem with this setup but will supply proposal to reroute it to a nearby vent stack.
